The Street Racer SR01’s frame has been created using BMC’s famous ISC triple butted hydroformed tube. This unique tube design has been composed using BMC’s integrated skeleton concept, which ensures that the tube junctions are perfectly tailored with additional skeletal reinforcements in order to evenly distribute any applied force. The smart construction and material has created a frame that is light in weight, yet extremely rigid and durable. This perfect combination promises that there is no flex on the frame and that any power placed on the frame is effectively transferred to the road. Another impressive aspect of the Street Racer SR01 frame is the Straightedge Carbon front fork with alloy steerer tube. The careful design of the front fork means that riders enjoy comfortable and responsive steering.
The features included on the Street Racer SR01 make it an ideal road racing bike, from the Alex A-Class SR18 wheels, which offer an excellent level of rigidity and durability, to the lightweight Scor MKIII stem, handlebars and seatpost. But while these features make certain that the bike is lightweight and geometrical, it is the drivetrain of the Street Racer SR01 that will impress the passionate cyclists.
Fitted with Shimano’s premium Ultegra groupset, riders will be able to feel the power of this bike from the first pedal. The Shimano Ultegra shifters, derailleurs with the Braze on feature included on the front derailleur and Shimano 105 cassette ensures that riders enjoy quick and precise shifting.
